140 459-9 te Gandersum op 12-11-2015

            Op donderdag 12 november 2015 zou het volgens de weersvoorspellingen een mooie novemberdag worden en gelukkig klopten de voorspellingen. Met zo en dan een enkel wolkje mochten we niet klagen. Aan het begin van de dag stond ik alleen midden in het veld bij Petkum. Dat veranderde al snel toen één van mijn Flickr-contacten aan kwam fietsen. Uiteindelijk zijn we bijna de hele dag bij elkaar gebleven en troffen we nog een aantal andere treinenspotters. We hebben het gezellig gehad met elkaar!

Op de foto rijdt de oude 140 459-9 van DB Schenker langs Gandersum met een gemengde goederentrein uit Emden. De locomotief heeft als bouwjaar 1963 en heeft er dus al heel wat kilometers opzitten.
