1986 Nissan Bluebird ZX Turbo 3dr (T12)

            So, here's an interesting car seen in a hitherto unpublished photo from my ex-Datsun/Nissan UK archive. This 3dr was one of two brought here for Type Approval purposes. I don't think there was ever an intention of selling them here, but the UK importers had the job of getting them approved for use throughout Europe so they had to do the whole range.

It's probably a little unusual for a private individual to have this information, but in my file I also have the Minister's Approval Certificate for this particular car (and indeed all other T12/T72 Bluebirds, and pretty much everything else sold here by Datsun/Nissan from 1976/77 up to 1991). This gives the chassis number as JN10KPT12U0100027, model type KPT12FTQ.

By cross-referring this with another database I possess, listing all 1.9-million cars/vans sold here from 1971-1991 by Datsun/Nissan UK, I can see that this was registered C146RWV on 09/05/1986. Which means it's the one I saw some years ago, as below.
