CBC Apr 21 2024 - Treasury Board President Anita Anand may have created some intergenerational division when placing part blame for the Gen Z housing and cost of living predicament on Seniors and on the large budgetary raises to Senior's OAS and GIS benefits ? In a CBC interview, Anand suggests that her Party is concerned that overly generous increases in Seniors OAS and GIS are in part to blame for the current budgetary imbalance that has favoured Seniors ? And she says that in the future, her Party will be increasing budgetary assistance for Millennials and Gen X ? This could be accomplished by cutting back raises on Seniors benefits ? It should be noted that, to date, all Seniors aged 65 thru 74 had received Nothing, or a Zero percent increase in their OAS pensions ? The Treasury Board President also feels that Seniors' had it better than this new generation ?

2019 A promise to Seniors of an ' unconditional ' 10 % raise in their OAS, but this will only apply to 43% of Seniors, while the other 57 % of the current Seniors population will get nothing ?

2020 - the 10 % raise in OAS is represented and used as a Covi benefit and as pandemic assistance for the population aged 65 and up known as Seniors while the working class was being given 500,00 per week ? The referred to 10 % Covi benefit by way of a 10% raise in Seniors pension was never released in 2020 nor even in 2021 ?

2021 - the 10 % raise in OAS is considered and used as a benefit for all Seniors 65 and up and will represent their share of budget 2021 ? Although it was never released in the entire year of 2021 ?

2022 - the 10 % raise in OAS is considered and used for the second time in a second consecutive Liberal budget as a benefit given to Seniors 65 and up as their part of this years yearly budget ? although it still has never ever been released at the time of this budget announcement ?

June 23, 2022 = 9 billion dollar Affordability Plan inflation fighting assistance for Canadians - 10 % raise in Seniors OASt is once again represented as the benefit for all Seniors 65 and up and to be their share of 9 billion dollars in new Government assistance ? this usage of the 10 % raise in Seniors OAS within the plan means that 57 % of the current Seniors population is totally left out of this new Affordability Plan ?

2023 - Nov 3rd, 2022, ' Fall Economic mini-Budget '
This will be the 3rd Liberal budget in a row in which the 10 % raise in Seniors OAS is to be once again used, considered and represented as the all Seniors share of another national budget ?

2024 - the 10 % raise in Seniors OAS first presented back in 2019, is apparently used 5 years later as leverage to blame rich Seniors for the current housing crisis and justify less budgetary consideration ?
