Opening studios to cassette decks, analog cell phones, and word processors is also encouraged. Reconfiguration of mechanisms and circuit boards for automatons, kinetic art, and Rube Goldberg devices is particularly therapeutic. They create interactive communities and stave off forced technological retirement.
