Mayflower at Arundel - a photo on Flickriver

            61306 "Mayflower" heads a Steam Dreams excursion towards Arundel on 20th April 2024. The river Arun and Arundel Castle, seat of the Duke of Norfolk, help make this vantage point very attractive. The train was due here at 08:40 but, primarily due to engineering works, it did not arrive until two hours later at 10:50. 

Pity about the sack in front of the loco but for this shot directly in front of the castle it was unavoidable.
