A wood of 3 hectares not ordinary ... The 4000 trees that compose it were planted in 1994, during the fiftieth anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. They are dedicated to the fighters who died for the freedom of our country.
Each veteran, back in Bastogne, had the opportunity to choose a tree that will forever bear his name. Seen from the sky, this forest shows the emblem of Unicef. Another attraction is the animal park linked to the Animalaine living museum, dedicated to wool and old crafts. Twenty-five breeds of sheep, some of which are endangered, are presented as well as so-called "wool" animals. Passerines and herons are present.

Un bosco di 3 ettari non ordinario... I 4000 alberi che lo compongono sono stati piantati nel 1994, durante il cinquantesimo anniversario della battaglia delle Ardenne. Sono dedicati ai combattenti che sono morti per la libertà del nostro paese.
Ogni veterano, tornato a Bastogne, ha avuto l'opportunità di scegliere un albero che porterà per sempre il suo nome. Vista dal cielo, questa foresta mostra l'emblema dell'Unicef. Un'altra attrazione è il parco faunistico legato al museo vivente Animalaine, dedicato alla lana e agli antichi mestieri. Vengono presentate venticinque razze di pecore, alcune delle quali in via di estinzione, e i cosiddetti animali "di lana". Sono presenti passeriformi e aironi.

Un bois de 3 hectares pas ordinaire… Les 4000 arbres qui le composent ont été plantés en 1994, lors du cinquantième anniversaire de la Bataille des Ardennes. Ils sont dédiés aux combattants morts pour la liberté de notre pays. Chaque vétéran, de retour à Bastogne, a eu l’occasion de choisir un arbre qui, pour toujours, portera son nom. Vue du ciel, cette forêt fait apparaître l’emblème de l’Unicef. Autre attrait, le parc animalier lié au musée vivant Animalaine, consacré à la laine et aux vieux métiers. Vingt-cinq races de moutons dont certaines en voie de disparition y sont présentées ainsi que des animaux dits «de laine». Passereaux et hérons y sont présents.
