Male Tufted Duck-Aythya fuligula - a photo on Flickriver

            This diving duck is often seen feeding in flocks often mixed with Pochards and disappearing under in search of their food. These ducks are found widespread and in winter can be found abundant in huge numbers on sheltered coastal waters, gravel pits and reservoirs.
