Stenscholl/Kilmartin River in Spate - a photo on Flickriver

            After the very heavy overnight rain I took myself down to Staffin Bay where I had a picture in mind of a gnarled tree with the river flowing swiftly in front of it. Unfortunately, when I tried to take the picture, the tree did not stand out well enough from the background so I gave up and experimented with different lenses on a different view. This photo, taken with the Voigtlander 15mm lens turned out to be the best.

The river is the Stenscholl River, known locally as the Kilmartin River where it enters the sea at Staffin Bay.
