Jones on the Spartus - a photo on Flickriver

            Look at that fantastic vintage lens, sharp in the center and wonderful softness in the edges. 
Just acquired another vintage camera, a Spartus Press Flash. This camera was introduced in 1939 and was the first camera to have a built in flash reflector. The camera is basically a box camera, no focus, no exposure setting except "Instant" or "Time" and shoots 8 big 6x9 negatives on a roll of 120 film. It was a joy to use and gave me 8 perfect negatives.

(I can't believe I used on of my last rolls of Plus-X on an untested camera but I love the results. I miss Plus-X)
