Double selfie, Parrsboro, Nova Scotia

            Taken back in July of 2005 at Parrsboro's annual old car event on Main Street.. We had timed our ten day visit to the province to coincide with this gathering of vintage autos. The weather was gloomy with a few very light sprinkles, but was by no means the "washout" that had been predicted. I had opted for a small pocket sized camera because we were shopping as well as shooting and felt that having less stuff to cart around was the way to go.
Here I'm using a Nikon Coolpix 4500 (4 MP), that twists in the middle, holding it below my waist like a twin lens reflex while composing the shot on the tiny screen. Today, phone cams eliminate the need to have a dedicated camera at "walk around" events, but back then this almost tiny camera was just as convenient.

The vehicle was an old 1960's Chevy Impala... can't remember the exact year.
