Backyard Great Horned Owl - a photo on Flickriver

            I heard a frantic alarm call from all the birds around my backyard, and knew to grab my camera before looking out the sliding door. My hunch was correct. I've been waiting 9 years for this shot, and only had 1.5 seconds to get it.
