Actor George O'Brien (1899 - 1985)

            He began as a silent star leading man (''Sunrise'' 1927 with Janet Gaynor) and when talkies came he became just another B - western star but continued acting. 

He was always proud of his physique and in his early days posed for some artistic publicity photos nude.  He continued to have scenes in his films shirtless or in swimming attire.

George O'Brien was a patriotic American too.  Heserve his country in : in WWI, WWII, Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a veteran actor as well - starting in 1922 as a bit player in ''White Hands'', and his last film appearance was a small part in ''Cheyenne Autumn'' 1964.
