Teaching at Cambridge University: Afternoon tea at The Fitzwilliam Museum, 13th May 2017

            TheFitzwilliam is just up the raod from wher I was to give my talk so a good place to rest up and prepare myself mentally. The tea here is proper leaf tea, served in a cafetiere like pot, an added bonus. We shared a piece of carrot cake, just as well as it was huge. At the next table two students were revising for end of term exams, using traditional textbooks but aided by smart phones and tablet computers. The young woman was studying classical Greek and Latin but tended to drift onto Facebook while I was sketching.
