Seiser Alm - a photo on Flickriver

Seiser Alm

            It is one of the most highly rated photo-spots in the Dolomites, the "Seiser Alm" or "Alpe di Siusi". Yesterday we took advantage of the perfect weather for a day trip there. Our expectations where more than fulfilled by the the picturesque landscape and the two rugged peaks of Sassopiatto and Sassolungo wich overlook the plateau, giving this imposing background to nearly every composition. This was a shot from later afternoon and my final spot. The light got better evry minute from then on and ended in a stunning mountain glow.....to be seen later.
