Sunbeam Coaches YX60 CLF 1010hrs Aylsham Circular via Blickling Hall & Matlaske 120424

            Here we see Hevingham based Sunbeam Coaches former Feline Executive Travel Bluebird bodied Fiat Ducato type YX60 CLF as it emerges from The Street at Little Barningham with the above circuit on Monday & Friday only Aylsham Circular service 1B.  Having reached this point from Aylsham by way of Blickling Hall (NT) and Itteringham the circuit continues via Matlaske School, Matlaske, Wickmere, Alby and Alby (Town Green).  This is one of a number of once/twice weekly revised services in the Aylsham, North Walsham, Wroxham area introduced by Sunbeam with the support of Norfolk County Council from week commencing Sunday 31st March 2024 to replace similar facilities previously provided by Feline Executive Travel of Catfield.

In my efforts not to have the Give Way sign encroach behind the fingerpost, I have inadvertently hidden the tower of Little Barningham Church, dedicated to St Andrew, behind a pole.   

With Sanders Friday only service 20 timed to pass by five minutes before the Sunbeam service 1B, it is possible to travel via a very scenic route from Cromer through to Aylsham by changing at Matlaske, although unfortunately the connection doesn’t work in the opposite direction.  

Vehicle YX60 CLF was delivered new to Middlesbrough based Ayresome Community Transport during November 2010 and later passed to Feline in November 2019.  It subsequently received their cherished plate ET06 FET in August 2021 and presumably reverted to its original registration prior to joining Sunbeam.
 
Apart from possibly some registered school services, I am fairly certain that this is the first time Sunbeam Coaches have provided regular all year round stage carriage/local bus services in their 55 plus years of operation, but I could be wrong.
