The Beautiful Gardens at the Mathilenhoehe!

            The Mathildenhoehe Museum area in Darmstadt has a magical array of beautiful - ineed spectacular - sights. These include not only the Russian Chapel and the Hochzeitsturm (Wedding Tower) but magically beautiful gardens. Here is a late autumn picture that I took of part of the gardens. No wonder that members of the famous "artists' colony" found aesthetic inspiration!
