Depoe Bay Rough Waves - a photo on Flickriver

            We just spent a few days at The Gardner Family House #1 in Depoe Bay on the Oregon coast.  It has huge windows with magnificent ocean views.  This photo shows two posts with lights marking a rather narrow channel through the rocks to “The Worlds Smallest Harbor”.  It looked to have dock space for about 20 boats, mostly tour boats for fishing or whale watching. The rough waves this day and the next had no boats going in or out.  Our last day had about six go out in a much calmer sea. The upper left shows a long set of waves that seems to follow undersea rocks leading to the rocky point.  I had not seen that kind of wave action before.
