Surprise! - a photo on Flickriver

Surprise!

            After thinking Corvids visiting the roof 12 May had raided the Starling nest because all had gone very very quiet there and the parents seemed distressed I saw this 17 May. 
.
One young out / others peeking out then parent calling then later on one on the chimney then it flew off after parent.
.
Maybe they just managed to retreat deeper under the tiles to stay safe and then kept quiet. Not seen Corvids on the roof lately either so they were fooled too.
