Ludlow. N3 - The dishonest alewife. - a photo on Flickriver

            N3 - On the left of the main design a dishonest alewife who has given short measure and still stubbornly clutching her deficient jug, is thrown over the shoulder of a devil.  Another devil plays bagpipes to serenade her journey to the gaping maw of Hell, shown on the right. On the left, the demon, Tutivillus, reads from the long list of her misdemeanour's.
