Den Bosch has it's nickname "The Dragon of Marshes", that's why you see the golden dragon monument there.

The staue is very impressive, apart from the golden dragon on the top you'll find another 4 at the bottom of it, which are also fountains.

The Drakenfontein or "Dragon Fountain" was erected in memory of two daughters of Viscount Bosch van Drakesteijn, the Queen's Commissioner in the province of Brabant from 1856 till his death in 1894. 

Designed by Ir. J.J. Duny, the memorial fountain was opened in 1903. The large dragon and the four smaller ones were made by F.W. Braat from Delft, the pedestal by the stonemason N. Glaudemans. The large dragon is carrying the coat of arms of the Drakesteijn family.

The fountain is nicknamed "Mother-in-law Memorial"!
  
's-Hertogenbosch is a city and municipality in the southern Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of North Brabant.
In speech, the Dutch seldom use the formal 's-Hertogenbosch, but rather the colloquial Den Bosch.
 
The city's official name is a contraction of the Dutch 'des Hertogen bosch' — "the Duke's forest". The duke in question was Henry I, Duke of Brabant, whose family had owned a large estate at nearby Orthen for at least four centuries. He founded a new town located on some forested dunes in the middle of a marsh. At age 26, he granted 's-Hertogenbosch city rights and the corresponding trade privileges in 1185.
