11-52 Eva: hungry

            Eva:  Dave, it's 9am.
Dave: I know.  We had a nice sleep in this morning.
Eva:  Nope.  You spent too long sleeping and now I'm very very hungry.
Dave: Both are probably true. 
Eva: So, let's fix this.  Open the fridge and find the yoghurt, then put it on my breakfast.
Dave: I will.  But first, do you know where Aggie is?
Eva:  I know where she isn't.  She isn't here helping me move breakfast forward with sheer willpower.
Dave: Oh, I bet she went back to bed.  She does love the human bed.
Eva: I'm sure I don't care.  Now, less chatting and more breakfast.
Dave: Sure thing. Breakfast time it is.

Eva is the hungriest dog that we've ever owned. And at 11 years old she has developed this new habit of staring intensely between me and the fridge when dinner or breakfast are late.  I think it's cute.  She thinks I'm missing the urgency of the situation.
