Sitting Gull

            I usually prefer to shoot flying, but there are some sitters that just beg you to hit the button. The masonry he's sitting on (the shore end of the old pier) is centuries old. indeed there's some stonework blocks scattered around that used to be part of the Cathedral which was sacked by some very unruly persons who'd been told that the old kirk was idolatrous and had to go, while the new one - wasn't. So they ripped the cathedral apart and over subsequent centuries the masonry was robbed out to build this-and-that.  So the guy above could be sat on what was in a former life a sanctified stone from the building where Bruce's first parliament was held. Or so I seem to recall being told as a nipper.
