Spicebush Swallowtail Butterfly - a photo on Flickriver

            There are not as many butterflies in the garden lately as there have been during the past couple of weeks. This one let me get quite close when it stopped by for a little snack before it was on its way.

This is a full-frame crop of the original with some adjustments for exposure.

I think the description of the butterfly is correct but I am open to both verification or correction.
