            The landscape in Kildebrønde, within the Greve Municipality, is characterized by its flat, coastal terrain. It's a low-lying area, primarily used for agriculture due to the fertile soil. The proximity to the coast means the land is influenced by the nearby Køge Bay. The area features open fields, and while not dramatic, the landscape has a serene, pastoral quality.

In Kildebrønde, the landscape's underlying geology is dominated by glacial moraine deposits—a legacy of the last Ice Age. This dense, clay-rich soil is a key reason why the area has been so suitable for agriculture for centuries. The land is relatively flat and low-lying, with some smaller bogs or marsh areas in depressions, such as parts of Karlslunde Mose to the south, which are rich in humus and formed by small streams draining towards the coast.
Human activity has profoundly shaped this natural foundation. Historically, the area was an "agerbygd" (arable farming settlement) with a high degree of cultivation. In the 17th and 18th centuries, farming was dominant, and there was virtually no forest. Over time, as Denmark underwent land reforms, land use was intensified. By the late 19th century, around 90% of the area was dedicated to agriculture. In the 20th century, urban expansion and infrastructure projects, particularly the extension of the S-train network in 1976 and the coastal motorway, led to a reduction in agricultural land. Today, while much of the western part of the municipality remains agricultural, the landscape is a mix of open fields, smaller settlements, and modern infrastructure.
