Brazil - Lead leaflet, issued by Brazilian Government, New York World's Fair, 1939

            One of a series of leaflets on minerals issued by the Brazilian Government for the country's pavilion at the New York 1939 World's Fair. An interesting take on an industrial subject -  - and thanks to John (below) the artist is The artist is Manuel Móra, 1884-1956. He was born in Portugal, moved to Brazil at some point and remained there until his death. He also did a series of postcards for the Rio de Janeiro tourism department.

The graphics show both lead ore and a suitably mountaineous setting with a mining settlement.
