Street plan of the County Borough of Derby, c1954 - showing bus and trolleybus routes

            A folding map found int he c1954 edition of the town's official handbook "Spotlight on Derby" and overprinted with various information. Most obviously shown are the routes operated by the County Borough's municipal transport department - these being trolleybus services as well as motor bus routes that were also partially 'jointly' operated with other local operators. The map also shows the Industrial Development Areas that the handbook contains details of as well as parks, open spaces and playing fields.
