Green Cuff Bracelet, Serpentine Gemstone with Bead Embroidery and Applique

            A gorgeous matte finished serpentine stone in beautiful shades of green serves as the focal element for this luxurious cuff bracelet. The adjustable aluminum cuff base was wrapped with a layer of fabric interfacing and then topped with celery ultrasuede and appliqued leaves in tan ultrasuede. A wide range of beads were used in creating the ornamentation around the focal stone. The stone itself was bezeled with tiny raku finished golden delica beads using peyote stitch, an off loom bead weaving technique. Some vintage beads and an array of colorul seed beads in both shiny and matte finishes were embroidered around the central element. The inside of the cuff is lined with moss green ultrasuede, which is very soft and comfortable against the skin.
