264: Poor Man's Wolverine - a photo on Flickriver

            I'm not a comic book guy, but when I was young I loved the X-Men comics.  If I remember correctly, The Wolverine was introduced in Volume 94, which was already really expensive back in the late 1970's.  I saw Hugh Jackman interviewed once and he described how he tried to tilt his head down slightly and look up through his brow at the camera, like a wolf on the hunt, when playing Wolverine.  I thought it was a cool idea, so with the same lighting set-up that I used for my son's soccer shot, I tried to channel my inner super hero.  Marvel won't be calling anytime soon, but it was fun anyway.

Strobist:  AB800s at 1/32 power, behind subject left and right through 20% grids for edge-light.  Canon EX600RT at 1/128 power below and in front of subject (sitting on floor) for fill.
