Montalcino - Verso Piazza del Popolo

            Montalcino è un borgo in Val D’Orcia (Toscana) conosciuto in tutto il mondo per la produzione del famoso vino Brunello.
Ma Montalcino è anche un bel borgo medioevale: passeggiando per le vie del centro storico si arriva alla Piazza del Popolo, dove si trova l’alto e stretto Palazzo dei Priori (XIII sec.), che per queste sue caratteristiche crea un notevole effetto scenografico.

Montalcino is a small village in Val D’Orcia (Tuscany, Italy), well known all over the world for the production of the famous wine “Brunello”.
But Montalcino is also a nice medioeval village; walking in the historical center you can arrive to Piazza del Popolo, where there is the high and narrow Palazzo dei Priori (XIII cent.). For these features, the Palazzo creates a very scenographic effect with the surrounding houses.
