Royal Armouries Leeds - Elizabethan Summer

The Royal Armouries at Leeds is one of our younger grandson's favourite places. I think he could run guided tours, we've been round it so many times! Apart from the impressive collection of armour, etc, one of the things that makes it special are the events and presentations, bringing history to life.

Running throughout August is the Elizabethan Summer, with a horse show running twice a day, as well as the usual themed presentations. Well worth a visit if you're in the area!
