            I made this photo of a Southern Copperhead Rattlesnake as Melody and I were finishing up our visit to the California Academy of Sciences In San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. As our time was limited we opted to visit the three story Rain Forest display first. It took us a while to wind our way up the circular ramp to the top floor, where butterflies are in various stages of development. From there, visitors take glass enclosed elevators to the Aquarium on the basement floor. This snake display is between the basement and the first floor and is a must stop live display for me.
