Öffentlich zugängliche Aussichtsdecks fehlen. Besucher können sich jedoch mit der Bronze Skulptur des namensgebenden King Shaka vor dem Flughafen Terminal trösten. ((Der Zulu König steht hier überlebensgroß inmitten zweier Nguni Rinder, die den materiellen und spirituellen Wohlstand repräsentieren.""
 King Shaka lebte von 1787 bis 1828 und gilt als Gründer der Zulu Nation. Der grausame Kriegsherr zwang zu Beginn des 19ten Jahrhunderts die unzähligen Clans im Zululand gewaltsam, seine Oberherrschaft anzuerkennen. Er schuf dadurch das mächtigste Königreich im südlichen Afrika. Die Skulptur vor dem modernen Flughafen Terminal repäsentiert in eindrucksvoller Weise den Kontrast zwischen dem modernen Südafrika und dem traditionellen Leben und Denken der einheimischen Bevölkerung im Zululand.
