GB Railfreight 66708 "Glory to Ukraine" Departing Peak Forest

            GB Railfreight 66708 "Glory to Ukraine" had completed loading at Cemex Peak Forrest about 40 minutes ago. Having pulled forward to achieve the "Run Around" it will have a short wait opposite the Peak Forest South Signal Box before leaving the High Peak with 6J56 the 09:54 departure for Peakstone's Hope Street Sidings. To the right 3 DB 66's  66054, 66093 and 66102 await their next duties.

In the background is Tarmac's (CRH) Tunstead Works, a massive limestone quarry and cement plant that commenced operations in 1929 under ICI ownership. In the 70's it became the UK's largest quarry for lime production.
