Junie's House, Dummer, New Hampshire in 2001

            Family and friends contributed to repaint Junie Sias Holt's house as a gift for her 100th birthday. She sent this photo of the repainted house with her Thank You note.

Junie grew up in a log cabin on a hill farm not far from this house. The farm and cabin are gone now, the land reclaimed by forest. Junie's Aunt Bertha (my grandmother) told me, "the land don't look natural" covered with trees instead of farm fields. Times change.
