Hotwheels 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 (2001)

            The third Hotwheels build for this month is a more understated.

Just in time too, for instagram #mocaroundgang mocaround76 to the build theme hotwheels.

Not every Hotwheels model is a custom, or painted in lurid colours. Some cars are pretty cool, just as they are. Or are collected by car fans who just like cool standard-looking cars. Of course, the Hotwheels style still runs to big shiny wheels, but  otherwise this 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 in turquoise is pretty much stock. 

This model was released in 2001, based on a casting from the previous year, as SKU 29695. There were other paint codes, including some much wilder paint jobs.
