Day 337 Our Christmas Tree - a photo on Flickriver

I find it difficult to get a decent photo of a Christmas tree. The lights always seem to wash out everything. Taking a shot in daylight doesn't really show what it looks like with the lights on.
Maybe a multiple exposure and do some HDR magic would work.
Any how this is the tree. Looks sad without any presents. Plus the dogs have been playing with the skirt. Should have straightened it before this shot.
