            Between the purchase price, insurance, tax and license, this car truly cleaned me out financially.

But I took care of it. If it made a sound, I took it in to get it repaired. It spent most of its overnight life indoors, in the garage. That's why I still have it. April 9, 2016 marked THIRTY-TWO YEARS since I drove it home from Townsend Pontiac in Merrillville, IN, after a SIX MONTH wait for delivery. 

I just got it back November 10, 2015 after 4 months in the shop and $2,500 of work to repair the damage done to the cylinder head after the fiber cam gear shattered. That's how much I love my car, even after all this time.

If GM or any other manufacturer had to depend on me to buy a car every two years, they'd have gone bankrupt anyway :D
