New Birmingham Library Introduction - a photo on Flickriver

            There is a great deal about the New Birmingham Library which is right. It's a library with a fine book collection, great online facilities, exhibition and performance spaces, very interesting architecture and much more. Not least I suspect it will be a tourist destination for a long time to come.

As such the guides available when you walk in need to be spot on, and encourage visitors to explore the building and discover just what is on offer.

I believe the literature you are given when you walk into this library really hits the button, which is why I have featured a few pages here.

I read recently that libraries are becoming what local authorities should spend their money on if they want to attract people into cities. In terms of bangs per buck they take some beating.

For the moment this is one of the best and should be celebrated accordingly.
