B175 Britannia 302 G-ANCC Sen 12Aug66 (Transglobe) RJG

            Britannia 302 G-ANCC was originally intended for BOAC but after initial registry to its maker and use of B Condition marks G-18-2 for its first flight on 24Jul57 it was delivered to Aeronaves de Mexico on 15Dec as XA-MED.  It was purchased by Transglobe in May66 and restored to G-ANCC but did not arrive at Southend for maintenance and repaint until 02Aug and I photographed it on roll-out on 12Aug66.
The Britannia was bought by IAS in 1968 and eventually withdrawn to Biggin Hill in Mar70, where it was scrapped in Aug70.
