Siding Spring Observatory - a photo on Flickriver

For those keeping abreast of bushfires in NSW there has been some mention of the Siding Spring Observatory located in the Warrumbungle Region near Conan the Barbarian...no wait, Coonabarabran.

For those that have never been here, it's a great place to visit as the photography opportunities in the small town, the farming areas around the town, the observatory and the national park are numerous and well worth a dedicated weekend trip away with your camera. Actually, you could probably occupy yourself for a week quite easily.
