On standby for the pending fire season, I saw this one in Penticton 9 years ago.

Largely a corporate machine, delivered to GMC as N5501V as an engine test bed, re-registered N1R in Apr 1961 and sold to the LA Dodgers in the Nov named "Kay O".  Sold to American Airlines as N1432 in Dec 1970 in a swap deal with a B720 but never operated for them.  Sold to Intermountain Aviation in Jan 1972, re-registered N90700 in the Mar, N1006T in the Apr and sold to Johnson Flying Service in May 1975.  Next was Evergreen International Airlines in the Nov and Air California in Apr 1977.  Joined Air Mandala as PK-RLF named "Rengga Gading" in Nov 1980 until retired in Nov 1994.  Joined Air Spray in Jun 1995 as tanker 489.
