Memories - a photo on Flickriver

Memories

            Once upon a time, a young boy travelled with his family somewhere .. The family stopped for some rest by some water left by the kind rain... I cannot fully describe to you how happy the boy was as he threw small stones into the 'big lake' imagining himself beating the enemies' ships and sinking them and at the same time competing with his brother:  who can throw stones farther than the other .. 
Two days ago, as I was driving to Jeddah, my son saw some water left by the precious rain to the side of the road. He asked me whether he can throw stones into the lake. I immediately parked by the 'lake' and helped my precious Khalid do what he wanted as the memotries raced to my mind thinking how many years have passed since I asked my father for the same thing. 

We are not made only of flesh and blood .. we are also made of memories. 
We tend to forget lots of things. However, some memories never fade away though there was no photo taken at such time. 
I took this photo to help my son remember the moment for a long, long time. .
