            The SJHU (Shin Japan Hero Universe) Robo was destined to be pretty awkward looking. Even the prototype and the commercial were basically announcing that to the world. In addition to respecting the properties themselves, I also like awkward looking toys. I mean, I had bought that Mickey Mouse combiner YEARS ago, which sadly was fragile as all hell. This one at least didn't seem that flimsy and had improved articulation.

At the very least, it would be an interesting conversation piece. 

So if you somehow missed it, as part of some very odd cross over promotion, Bandai released a set of the Robo that allowed Kamen Rider, Ultraman, one of the EVAs, and of course, Shin Godzilla, to combine into a weird looking robot. 

Even from the commercial, it was apparent that none of the components would look particularly great, as they all had their forms modified to suit the transformation and combination sequences. No big deal, knew that ahead of time.

With the exception of Kamen Rider, each piece does feature some minor articulation, with Ultraman and the EVA possessing the most. The effects parts for Ultraman and the EVA are used in the combined form. Combination is very much a Partsforming exercise, which sadly, doesn't actually use all the parts.

Combined mode, again, looks weird, but holds together reasonably well and allows for some decent posing, but with no leg spreading capability and really awkward shoulders, it's better than your run of the mill DX Sentai Robo, but it's not going to be a Figuart.

The general deco and Paint Applications are pretty much what I expected... for most of them. It's nice that there's not a whole lot of unpainted surfaces, and the overall paint work itself is very good... crisp and smooth.

BUT.. whoever approved the eyes on Godzilla is probably gonna be drawn and quartered. He looks like he needs his caffeine for the day.

Build Quality is generally good. The design holds together nicely, but some of the joints are a bit loose and the overall design has dangling pars that just beg to be knocked off, though fortunately recombining any fallen pieces is straight forward.
