NS #8098 Crossing Missouri River - a photo on Flickriver

            Was working on other stuff at my computer when an email notice from the heritage units website came in alerting me that NS 8098 was leading NS 223 and that he was working Wentzville. Given it that it was late in the morning, I headed for one of my favorite spots on the St. Louis District, especially for later in the day eastbounds - the high bridge crossing of the Missouri River in St. Charles.

Turns out that the train spent a lot more time in Wentzville than I anticipated and so I baked in the sun up on the un-shaded Katy Trail waiting, only to have a big cloud roll in about 30 seconds before 8098 came into view.
