A Scanning Surprise ...........and it's a V8 too!

            One of the things that happens when scanning from a large box of 35mm negatives is that sometimes some very interesting vehicles materialise on the screen from almost nowhere!

Alright, ADW228B the ex Wynns Pacific just visible behind the ex Pickfords trailers is a nice machine, but I'd known for a while that this passed through Joe Sullivan's hands.

What I didn't know was that the superb Westfield Transport AEC Mandator V8 -AMH508H, one of the last built as chassis no.419- had been disposed of to here as well, and for it to suddenly appear in a scan certainly makes the many hours spent sorting these images on the computer most worthwhile!!

I wonder what happened to it after this photo was taken by Joe Sullivan?
