The main event in Skegness this week has to be this stunning Class 40 that rolled in working 'The Jolly Whistler' with 37706 on the rear

West Coast Railways 40145 and 37706 team up to top and tail 'The Jolly Whistler' as they pull into Skegness working 1Z37 from Burton-on-trent. 

Whilst working 1Z38 to Manchester Piccadilly it left Skegness 60 minutes late due to a Points failure between Skegness and Boston and then subsequently failed between Hubberts Bridge and Heckington due to an unknown cause
