CZ - Výsluní - IVK Kladno T478 2078

            EN: On February 10th a special train was said to be driving from Prague via Chomutov and across the czech german border to Cranzahl using the only sparsly used branch line 137 from Chomutov to Vejprty and on to Cranzahl. This very scenic line crosses the Ore Mountains/Krušné hory/Erzgebirge in an area only populated by very few people with its highest point being at 875 m above sea level. The ridge is know for sometimes quite extreme weather and on this day, a very dense fog laid across the mountain range. This picture shows the train at Výsluní station, which is located in the middle of nowhere with the name-giving town being three kilometres away. T478 2078 by IVK Kladno is pulling four carriges through this scenery as R 95951 from Praha Vršovice to Cranzahl.

DE: Für den 10. Februar kündigte sich ein Sonderzug von Prag über Komotau und die tschechisch-deutsche Grenze bis nach Cranzahl an. Er befuhr dabei die normalerweise nur noch im Sommer im Ausflugsverkehr genutzte Nebenbahn 137 von Komotau über Weipert bis ins deutsche Cranzahl. Diese landschaftlich sehr reizvolle Strecke führt durch die nur wenig bewohnten Gebiete des Erzgebirgskamms und hat ihren Scheitelpunkt auf 875 m Höhe über normal Null. Der Erzgebirgskamm ist für seine teils extremem Wetterverhältnisse bekannt und so hing am 10. Februar ein sehr dichter Nebel über den Höhenlagen. Dieses Bild zeigt den Zug am Haltepunkt Výsluní, der mitten im Wald 3 km von seinem namensgebenden Ort entfernt liegt. T478 2078 von IVK Kladno zieht vier Schnellzugwagen als R 95951 Praha Vršovice - Cranzahl durch diese fast schon mystische Atmosphäre.
