"Waiting for the Giants" - a photo on Flickriver

            As the sun sets beneath the horizon of Tokyo-III, Kensuke Aida - an amateur videographer and militaria enthusiast - vigilantly anticipates the imminent deployment of an Evangelion unit from the UN-sanctioned secret organization known as Nerv. Although lacking any interest in the subject, Toji Suzuhara - the hard-headed but good-natured friend of Kensuke - finds himself begrudgingly accompanying him for the trip. While Kensuke's encyclopedic knowledge of military strategy and tactics is undeniable, his troubling lack of street smarts is compensated by Toji presence, as the latter is more than willing to get his hands dirty to protect his friend from any strangers looking to start trouble...
