Sequoia Redwood at the Flavel House - a photo on Flickriver

            A view of the sequoia redwood on the side yard of The Flavel House Museum that Capt. G. Flavel planted in 1873, Trying to show the size in comparison to the house that George Flavel built to retire to in his last years! The Flavel House Museum is an entire city block of old Astoria. And worth a trip just to see how the rich lived long ago! To the right of the sequoia is a cherry tree just coming into bloom.
