Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus) - a photo on Flickriver

            The October East Anglian "shrike-fest" continues with this superb 1W bird for its' third day on Upper Hollesley Common near Woodbridge (Suffolk/UK).  A first Suffolk record.

The bird was quite active and mobile over the heath but seemed to have no problem finding plenty of food as it alternated between hunting and perching up to pose for the crowd.
